The Soča
river, named as 'a daugther of the mountains' by a slovenian
poet, is only 200 meters awy from the apartment. The marble
trout used to be the sole species of trout settling our waters.
Marble
trout reach beautiful sizes and weights. The largest marble
trout found weighed 25kg.
Fly-fishing
is only allowed fishing in this area.

On Kobala
above Tolmin is one of the most beautiful starting places for
paragliders and hanggliders in Slovenia and Europe. In good
weather conditions you can fly above the alps, toward Italy,
Bovec and Bohinj.
A tangible
proof for that it's massive yearly attendance of individual
guests, whereas the frequent organization of various national,
European and world championships only confirms that. There are
also a few good starting places around Kobarid - Stol and
Kobariški Kuk.
Registered landing places are
in Tolmin and Kobarid.

Soča with
it's uniquely emerald colour attracts in summer months on the
river all who enjoy such activites. One of many sports agencies
will take care of safety and satisfaction, so you can enjoy in
rafting, kayaking, hydrospeed...
If you like adrenaline you must try Canyoning. It's for those
who like more of a challenge. You will be coming down a mountain
stream by jumping off of ledges, sliding down rocks, going over
a waterfalls and admired what nature caused in thousand-years
history.
You can also just enjoy and relax on one of numerous natural
beaches next to Soča and Nadiža and set to sunbeams. |

Apartment is beautiful starting point for
many trips. You can go on which of nearby hills. If you are
interested for history of our places, you can follow the traces
of bloody struggles in 1st world war - we recommended also visit
of
museum in Kobarid, which is dedicated to this theme.
The highest and the most attractive moutain in this part of Soča
Valley is Krn (2244 meters high).

Agitated area around the apartment offers many possibilities for
cycling. You can go on a small trip on the road or on rightly
mountain biking.

In our neighborhood only 30 minutes driving
away is the highest Slovene ski center Kanin. Winters are
usually generous with snow here so the skiing is possible even
in the late springtime.
